The Water Rebellion

Huan's Picture Diary
Huan's illustrations of her adventures

First Session

An image of a campfire, surrounded by six people. They are: Digger Huan, Tae Chun, Li the Sage, Umi of the Water Tribes, her hair-maiden Ling, and the woman Lan Fan. Umi is regaling them with tales about the Water Tribes, looking impressive and exotic. Her hairstyle is very elaborate. Li, Tae Chun and Lan Fan all look mysterious. Huan is admiring Umi.

~

This is a picture of a big tree. Huan is burying the tree, looking proud. She is surrounded by Earthbenders, who look impressed and happy as the tree falls into a hole in the ground.

~

This is a very wide picture of a forest. Towards the left end of the picture are some swarthy bandits in conical hats. They are carrying an innocent-looking girl above their heads. Towards the right end is Tae Chun, climbing trees. Tae Chun is pursuing the bandits. He looks very focused and intense. Behind Tae Chun are Huan, Umi, and Li.

~

On this picture, Tae Chun is fighting the bandits. They are throwing knives, hiding in the trees. One of them is encased in a big block of ice, quite clearly courtesy of Umi, who is striking a menacing pose. Most of the bandits are fleeing. Li is punching a bandit, causing him to drop the kidnapped girl.

~

The four heroes are at a caravan, interrogating the frozen bandit. There’s a speech bubble reading “Sun Tae Clan” above his head. He looks terrified. Haku the caravan leader is here. He is hugging the kidnapped girl with one arm and punching the bandit with the other arm.

~

This is a very large picture of the city Hei Sei. Huan and her friends are barely visible as tiny stick figures to the side. They appear to be dancing or throwing up their arms, clearly overjoyed to have reached such an amazing place. The city is shining. Some guards are approaching them.

~

An image of a very sad old man, crying and begging. He has a very impressive beard and regal clothes. Above his head is a speech bubble, containing some bandits carrying a boy. Some guards are dragging the old man away. He bears a striking resemblance to General Kong Jayin.

~

This is a picture of an impressive inn and tea-house in Heisei. Tim the little boy is here. Tim is pointing at the tea-house. Huan, Tae Chun, Umi and Li are all looking very impressed.

~

This is an elaborate picture of a room in an inn. A large bath tub dominates the scene. Huan, Umi and Li are in the bath tub; Ling is standing outside it, brushing Huan’s hair. Umi is telling a story, looking regal and impressive. Huan is admiring her. Li is asking questions. The picture is followed by another one, in which Huan has an impressive hair-style that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Huan is beaming.

~

The impressive hairstyle is gone in this picture. Huan has a single ponytail in her hair. She is sitting with Tae Chun, Umi and Li at a table. They appear to be having a very serious conversation. Li is looking sceptical. Tae Chun is looking heroic and brave. Huan is mostly looking confused.

~

This is a picture of two regal-looking Earth Kingdom ladies. They look beautiful and impressive, carrying their heads high. They are surrounded by a crowd of people. The crowd is admiring the ladies. Behind the crowd are Tae Chun and Li. Li is sneaking. Tae Chun is jumping.

~

An image of Lin Mei-Zheng, the criminal member of the Sun Tae Clan. Lin Mei-Zheng is looking very beautiful, but also baffled and confused by the two Earth Kingdom ladies. The two ladies are looking cool and collected, waving little fans and impressing Lin Mei-Zheng.

~

Very abruptly, the mood changes. A big burly man is kicking the two Earth Kingdom ladies into a big hole in the ground. The ladies are falling. Tae Chun is watching the scene from afar. The ladies look surprised.

~

Now the two Earth Kingdom ladies are in a prison cell. A mysterious figure is with them.

Welcome to your Adventure Log!
A blog for your campaign

Every campaign gets an Adventure Log, a blog for your adventures!

While the wiki is great for organizing your campaign world, it’s not the best way to chronicle your adventures. For that purpose, you need a blog!

The Adventure Log will allow you to chronologically order the happenings of your campaign. It serves as the record of what has passed. After each gaming session, come to the Adventure Log and write up what happened. In time, it will grow into a great story!

Best of all, each Adventure Log post is also a wiki page! You can link back and forth with your wiki, characters, and so forth as you wish.

One final tip: Before you jump in and try to write up the entire history for your campaign, take a deep breath. Rather than spending days writing and getting exhausted, I would suggest writing a quick “Story So Far” with only a summary. Then, get back to gaming! Grow your Adventure Log over time, rather than all at once.
